As a technical sales rep for NUTRAL, TECHNA Group’s Animal Specialities subsidiary, I’m constantly out in the field working alongside my customers. I cover the Maine et Loire area in France, with the rest of the regional team.
It’s my job to help farmers find solutions to their problems and optimise their farming operations. This involves going out to the farms themselves and supporting distributors and insemination centres. I cover the full range of livestock: cattle, goats, sheep, poultry and pigs. I use my expertise to address the specific issues facing farmers, from health and hygiene conditions to nutritional monitoring At the end of each visit, I update my customer files, a vital tool for keeping a check on the condition of the farm. I recommend animal specialities as part of a global approach aimed at improving the technical and economic aspects of the farm.
By providing regular feedback to my colleagues concerning my activities, I’m also helping to improve the formulation of NUTRAL solutions. NUTRAL technicians play an active and crucial role in the creation and validation of new specialities by taking part in field trials.
Lastly, I sometimes support external communication activities, taking part in trade fairs, exhibitions and other public events.
