Job description
We have an opening for a IT Support Technician (F/H) in our Information Systems department.
You will join a team of 6 people: an Information Systems Manager, a System and Network Architect, 3 IT Project Managers and a Software Development and Support Manager.
Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, your role will be to manage the maintenance and support of IT applications and hardware, in order to guarantee their availability and smooth operation for users.
As such, your main tasks are as follows:
Take charge of the organization and control of IT operations and production processes, as well as incident handling.
Support users on their workstations, business applications and internal applications
Ensure application maintenance and support
Manage hardware deployment in close collaboration with the System and Network Architect and suppliers.
Act as a back-up for the System and Network Architect, and intervene as required to administer servers and networks and monitor IS security.
The various tasks are as follows:
Application and hardware maintenance and support (around 65% of working time)
Hardware deployment (around 20% of working time)
Back-up for the System and Network Architect (approx. 15% of working time)
Profile required
With 2 to 3 years' higher education in IT, you have at least 2 years' experience, ideally in a mid-sized company.
Technical skills :
You are familiar with the main databases and SQL language.
You have in-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as the different user terminals (PCs, smartphones, tablets).
You are familiar with Office 365 and Google collaborative applications.
You know how to administer software solutions such as ERP and EDM.
You also have knowledge of virtualization solutions and network protocols, and you know how to use and configure a ticketing tool.
Your interpersonal skills and your ability to teach will enable you to train users in the various tools, as well as maintaining a quality relationship with suppliers. Thanks to your analytical skills, rigor and autonomy, you can propose solutions to resolve any problems encountered.
