Genetic progress, societal expectations… Brazilian swine, poultry and aquaculture industries are at a turning point in their evolution and are currently exposed to many challenges. These themes will be the ‘hot topics’ of panels and conferences at the upcoming AveSui livestock exhibition, to be held in Brazil from August 1st to 3rd. TECHNA nutritionists will be on-hand during the fair to discuss how their approach to gut microbiota enhancement can increase farm profitability.
Brazil is the world's third largest market in terms of volumes of feed production for livestock. When it comes to animal productions, Brazil is the 4th pork producer (3 675 000 tonnes carcass equivalent), behind China, the EU and the United States. Brazil also ranks third in terms of world broiler production behind the United States and China as in 2017, it produced close to 14 million tonnes of poultry. It is therefore little surprise that AveSui – which takes place from August 1st to 3rd in Medianera, southern Brazil-- is one of the most renowned livestock trade fairs in Latin America.
Not only is it a tremendous opportunity to discover ready-for-use livestock technologies but also a pioneer platform for rapid and rigorous dissemination for results of current research. This year, poultry gut microbiota will be the central focus at the Panel of Intestinal Health that takes place as part of the XVII Technical Scientific Seminar of Poultry, Swine and Fish, on August 1st. The functioning of intestinal microbiota in swine and poultry also happens to be a key topic of research for TECHNA Feed Expertise Trade.
TECHNA experts will attend the fair and will be available to talk about a range of quality “made in TECHNA” products designed for swine, tilapias and broilers.
For meat type birds, Aviance® is a natural solution that optimises growth and performance based on FCR criteria. Through the appetite-enhancing, antioxidant and antibacterial properties of its components, Aviance® aims to stimulate the digestive functions and helps to attain the perfect balance of the intestinal flora.
Aquaviance®, is another flagship product stemming from Aqua Techna, TECHNA Group’s dedicated aquaculture division: it helps with the control of pathogenic bacteria, contributes to a good balance of intestinal flora of tilapia through the synergistic action of essential oils and prebiotics.
In swine, TECHNA puts forwards a range of solutions, such as Reganol®, and feeding strategies designed to strengthen microbiota functions by having a positive impact on piglet intestinal microbiota.
If you would like to find out how you can improve broiler, fish and piglet performance in a sustainable and cost-effective way, just make an appointment with our experts! They will be available anytime from August 2-3rd to see how these solutions and their technical assistance can be useful within your production context.
