EGE TECHNA was created in 2002 in the Turkish city of Izmir. It markets TECHNA Group products and lends its expertise to feed manufacturers, livestock farmers and a variety of players in the animal production sector. EGE TECHNA initially focused on service company activities targeting ruminants, and then poultry. Subsequently developing animal nutritional specialities, more recently the company moved into aquaculture, which represents a significant share of Turkish animal production.

Driven by this momentum, EGE TECHNA now intends to pursue its development in the plant nutrition sector.

PROTICAL®

PROTICAL^® is a highly absorbable source of calcium. It also contains precursors of the components of the skeleton.

By strengthening the bone structure, this product increases the calcium storage capacity in the poultry. In a laying hen, PROTICAL^® limits the mobilisation of calcium of the bone marrow: the strength of the shell is clearly increased.

It results in a 30% reduction of the number of broken or downgraded eggs, and a decline in the number of cracked eggs. The bone structure of the animal is better preserved.
