Data transfers outside the European Union
The TECHNA Group gives priority to processing and hosting your data within the European Economic Area (EEA).
Should data need to be transferred to a third country outside the EU (for example, when using international analytical or IT tools), TECHNA guarantees that such transfers are subject to appropriate legal safeguards in accordance with Articles 44 to 49 of the GDPR (adequacy decisions by the European Commission or the signing of Standard Contractual Clauses – SCCs).
What are your rights regarding your personal data and how to exercise them?
You are entitled, provided you prove your identity (a copy of your identity document may be requested in case of reasonable doubt):
- to access your personal data in our possession and obtain a copy;
- to rectify your personal data that is incorrect or no longer up-to-date;
- to request the erasure of your personal data. - the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. This right applies in the following situations:
- you contest the accuracy of your personal data. While we perform the necessary verifications, we will restrict the processing of your data;
- you object to the processing of your personal data. While we verify the legitimate grounds you invoke, we will restrict the processing of your data;
- you consider the processing of your personal data to be unlawful but do not request its erasure;
- the right to data portability of your personal data, meaning the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured format and to transmit it to another data controller.
