What personal data is collected?
Accessing and using the WEFEED Solution requires you to provide us with personal information about yourself.
The only information that is mandatory is marked with an asterisk (*). If you do not wish to provide this mandatory information, certain services and features of the WEFEED Solution may not work.
When you communicate, use or store personal data via the WEFEED Solution that does not directly concern you, it is your duty and responsibility to inform those individuals of the collection and processing of their personal data on the WEFEED Solution. In this regard, you indemnify TECHNA FRANCE NUTRITION against any claims, complaints or demands from the third parties concerned.
The personal data we may process about you is as follows:
Your details:
Your surname, first name, job title, postal address, email address, telephone number, and details regarding the farm, such as the surname, first name, email address and telephone number of the contacts.
Personal data generated through the use of the WEFEED Solution:
- Your login details for your personal account on the WEFEED Solution
- Your login history and activity on the WEFEED Solution, including actions taken,
- The types of modules and features you use,
- The content you may record, store and share via the WEFEED Solution,
Technical personal data:
We also collect information about the devices you use, such as the type and version of your web browser, the operating system you use, and the name of your device.
Why is your personal data collected? To enable us:
- To create and manage your personal account on the WEFEED Solution,
- To manage your subscription to the WEFEED Solution,
- To manage billing and payment for our paid services to which you may have subscribed,
- To verify that users comply with the terms of use of the WEFEED Solution,
- To provide you with all information concerning the WEFEED Solution, our services and products,
- To improve the WEFEED Solution,
- To manage the exercise of your rights regarding your personal data processed in connection with your use of the WEFEED Solution,
- To process your requests for information and complaints, and to manage any disputes,
- To ensure the technical management of the WEFEED Solution: to analyse, test, maintain in operational condition and resolve any technical faults and issues,
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
All processing of personal data that we carry out is conducted in strict compliance with (i) our legal and regulatory obligations and (ii) our contractual obligations in accordance with our terms and conditions, or is justified on the legitimate grounds set out above.
We undertake not to sell or pass on your personal data to third parties for commercial, advertising or promotional purposes.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your personal data is disclosed and/or made available only:
- only to members of our staff who are duly authorised in accordance with the purpose of the processing;
- to the recipients you have yourself designated in your personal account;
- to our IT and technical service providers and subcontractors who work on our information systems, servers, tools and applications or who host your personal data. These service providers are selected on the basis of their expertise and their ability to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data to which they may have access in the course of their work. Agreements are entered into with these service providers stipulating that their access is limited solely to the data strictly necessary for the performance of their services and detailing the technical and organisational security measures they implement..
We may also be required to disclose your personal data in order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, as well as in connection with judicial, administrative or legal proceedings, or in response to administrative, legal or judicial orders or requirements.
Is your personal data transferred outside the European Union?
NO, your personal data is stored and hosted in France and will not be transferred outside the European Union.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We ensure that we retain your personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes of the processing carried out, or for a period prescribed by law. Specifically:

We retain all your personal data in our active database for as long as you use the WEFEED Solution.
From the moment your personal account is closed for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to, your decision to stop using the WEFEED Solution, the expiry of your subscription to the WEFEED Solution, or at our initiative due to breaches of our terms of use), your personal data will be anonymised for statistical, scientific and research purposes.
What security measures have we put in place to protect your personal data?
We implement appropriate physical, technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data and ensure its security, integrity and confidentiality, including encryption, server access filtering, firewalls and a strict backup policy with immutable backups.
We also require our service providers and subcontractors who may have access to your personal data to provide appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, protection and confidentiality of your personal data. This requirement involves the implementation of contracts, which include an obligation on the subcontractor to comply with the requirements of the applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data. These contracts provide, where applicable, that we may carry out audits and checks on our service providers and subcontractors to ensure that they comply with their obligations.
Access to your personal account on the WEFEED Solution is only possible with a username and password. These are strictly personal and confidential. It is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality and security of these usernames and passwords, and in particular not to disclose them to third parties. Please also remember to log out of your personal account as soon as you no longer need to access the Services.
What are your rights regarding your personal data, and how can you exercise them?
You are entitled, provided you can prove your identity (you may be asked to provide a copy of your ID):
- to access the personal data we hold about you and to obtain a copy of it;
- to correct any personal data that is incorrect or out of date;
- to request the erasure of your personal data. We will, however, retain certain data in order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations or where we have a legitimate reason to do so (for example: where your data is necessary to establish proof of the proper fulfilment of our legal, regulatory or contractual obligations, or for security reasons);
- to object to the processing of your personal data if you have legitimate grounds;
- to withdraw your consent where processing is carried out solely on the basis of your consent;
- the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. This right applies in the following circumstances:
(i) you dispute the accuracy of your personal data. Whilst we carry out the necessary checks, we will restrict the processing of your data;
(ii) you object to the processing of your personal data. Whilst we verify the legitimate grounds you have raised, we will restrict the processing of your data;
