Job description
As a member of the feed formulation team, reporting to the Formulation Manager, you will be the technical contact for feed manufacturer customers in France and abroad, providing them with personalized support on the various aspects of feed design and manufacture, for all animal species.
In this context, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
Develop, optimize and adapt feed formulas to meet the needs of customers and prospects
Propose changes to matrices and update them in line with the results of analyses of raw materials and finished feeds
Advise on raw material utilization strategies, in keeping with the environmental and economic context
Provide customers with complementary advice on formulation: regulatory changes, quality control of raw materials, technological manufacturing issues, etc
Maintain an economic watch on the raw materials market
Contribute to the creation of products and services based on identified customer needs
Complete technical and innovative R&D projects.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team (formulators, species specialists, sales staff, etc.), you will put your knowledge of nutrition and your formulation expertise to work for our feed manufacturer customers, helping them to develop and improve their performance.
By listening to their needs and building solutions as part of a team, you will play a key role in the development and integration of the new challenges facing the animal nutrition sector.
The position is located near Nantes, with occasional travel in France and abroad.
Profile required
With higher education (Bac +5) in agri / agro, you ideally have a specialization in animal production and initial experience in formulation and/or raw materials expertise.
You are rigorous and organized, and your sense of customer service enables you to respond to requests with relevance and responsiveness. Your good interpersonal skills enable you to work in a team and interact with several departments.
