For several decades, the Techna Group has been renowned for its expertise in equine health and care nutrition through its Paskacheval brand, aimed at professionals and horse enthusiasts. The group is now extending its precision nutrition offering to equine species under the Feedia brand, dedicated to horse feed manufacturers.

Horses can be used for a variety of purposes, including leisure, sport or breeding. They therefore have a wide range of nutritional needs, but at the same time they are relatively poorly understood. Meeting these nutritional requirements depends on a number of factors, including forage availability, feeding practices, societal and environmental expectations and regulatory constraints.

• Detailed knowledge of raw materials and forages and theirs specific nutritional values for horses form the basis of our nutritional expertise. Techna also draws up specifications and feed ranges, while assisting its customers with feed formulation, rationing and management.
   
• Decision-making tools are available to monitor and exploit the analysis results of raw materials, fodders and horse feeds with Extralab, and to create raw materials and fodders matrices with Black Box.
   
• Tailor-made support is provided to customers who manufacture horse feed: the Feedia team, made up of expert engineers in nutrition and zootechnics, provides training in equine nutrition and works directly in stables and on farms to offer solutions tailored to the needs of each customer. Assistance with contamination risk management (LCH partnership) is also part of the service offering.
